hiya... just came back from my hike from school to bukit timah hill... well.. actually i didn't really participated in the hike... we ( me and hilmi) were the organisers of this hike and thus, we need not participate in it... the checkpoints were
1. japanese cemetary park
2. little india MRT station
3. macritchie reservoir
4. bukit timah hill ( visitor centre)
we started the hike at about 9am... after the scouts set off from school, me, hilmi, sir jimmy and sir bing cai took a bus down to japanese cemetary park to meet the serangoon scouts and sir faizal who were joining us in the hike... sir faizal drove a mini bus and he brought us to yang zheng primary school after the scouts proceeded to their next checkpoint... the cadet scouts at yang zheng primary were having their sixers camp... the leaders were chatting wif one another there while me and hilmi kept contact with the scouts and made sure they were on the right track... it was a pretty hot afternoon and we were all about to doze off in the bus... but thanks to sir faizal and his jokes, he managed to keep us awake... haha... when the scouts arrived at little india MRT station, i could see that they were all shacked an drained... they had their lunch there... man... i really pitied the scouts to have to carry so much stuff ( sorry guys... but... this is all part of training)... halfway through to macritchie reservoir, it started to rain... sir jimmy decided to end the hike at macritchie reservoir... those who wished to continue the hike to bukit timah could... but this time, me, hilmi and sir jimmy participated in the hike.. by the time we arrived at bukit timah, it was about 8pm... some of us went for dinner at macdonalds... we were STARVING man... haha... when i got home, it was already 10pm... phew... wad a day it has been... was quite glad that the hike turned out well.. GOOD JOB SCOUTS!!! haha... left with 1 more day of holiday and i haven't even started on my homework.. die man!! gotta quickly finish ou or else... haha... i wouldn't want to know what the consequences will be, so i BETTER do my homework... i guess that's all for today...
